KX Light boot to AmiKit installed on HD

I recently purchased Amiga Forever 2006 and was ecstatic on seeing my laptop boot as the Amiga. Was wondering if AF2006 CD could be modified to load AmiKit and be installed to boot directly from the harddrive?

Total props to the creater of AmiKit!

Yeah, this is a good question! It would be VERY interesting! I'll try to find more info on this and let you know.

I remember there is a manual on how to boot the KX Light from HDD. A boot sequence located on HDD would be much easier to modify compared to CD ;)

I was told the next version of KX Light will offer better support for HD installation.

Let's hope it happens soon. Then it would be possible to modify it to boot directly into AmiKit.
