So, Ive been a longtime user/purchaser of AmiKit, and obviously I think its great

But recently/for a while, there has been chatter in the Apollo/Vampire crowd about switching to AROS as the OS going forward instead of AOS3.x, due to the legal issues surrounding AOS.
AROS has some serious performance issues, but some of them have been tackled, but in addition the desktop/workbench looks less than impressive.

Have you, Jan, considered making AmiKit for AROS, or is it too much work vs reward? I guess it comes down to the number of Vampires going forward.

Anyhow, I just throw this question out since Ive seen you in Apollo-Team IRC a few times (Im Niding there btw).

Hi Overflow!

It would be really really great to have AROS in AmiKit instead of AmigaOS3.x. That would make AmiKit resources independent.

BUT... would every program included with AmiKit run normally? In other words, is AROS 100% compatible replacement of AmigaOS?
