Hi,

I want to rename all icons individually for the mounted drives to know which one is which. Doing so using the standard menu rename option only lasts for one session. How and where else should I rename the icons permanently?
Will this work properly anyway if there is removable storage?

Hello!

Renaming should be permanent, even for removable storages, of course. Right-click the drive and select rename.

What drives are you trying to rename and how did you mounted them?

Hm,

Did it that way....Right-click...

Auto-mounting having the WinUAE options "Add PC drives at startup" & "Include removable drives" checked.
Some are removable, but acts the same for permanent drives. Only working for one session. Could this again be Linux specific, maybe file permission related?

Hello, I am sorry for the late reply. Yes, this is definitely Linux related as there is an extra Wine layer under WinUAE. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
