Hi, I'm running Amikit on Windows 10, with the AmigaOS & Rom version from Amiga Forever 9 Plus Edition, and my AmiKit version number is AmiKIT XE.

I've opened Netsurf around 5-6 times with no issues, but the last time I used it, it crashed after I clicked the bookmark icon.

Now when I open Netsurf, I just get a black window, which I cannot close by clicking in the top left. There is nothing open in the taskbar to close either. So I have to restart the emulation to get rid of the empty black window.

Is there anything I can do to restore functionality?

Maybe your Options file got broken.
Try again with the original one.

Download it and copy it to AmiKit:Internet/NetSurf/Resources folder.

Sorry, very new user, but should the options file be renamed «options» or left as «options.txt»? And it would just go in the root of the Resources folder?

It's just «Options» and it goes to the root of Resources folder. Simply replace the old file with the new one there.

Well, the most east solution would be to re-install AmiKit, I guess.
Once you do that, and you install it with AmigaOS too, backup AmiKit.hdf file. Next time if anything goes wrong you simply restore that single file and you're back on track.
