a little embarrassing question: i managed to delete the contents of the demos folder of Amikit. What a shame! I can't check out those great demo's anymore. What's the best way to get them re-installed?

Well, on Raspberry Pi you cannot. I am sorry about that. Flash the image to a new card and copy the Demos folder (including Demos.info file) to your old card.

To be safe in future, in Linux Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v your Amiberry and AmiKit folders and if anything goes wrong simply restore those folders.
