i have the https://www.retro32.com/ amiga keyboard to usb adapter and it crashes or prevents amikit from booting into the linux.
i have tried piamiga and several stock pi distros and have had no issues.
I have found Amikit to hate his keyboard.
booting cold with keyboard attached the distro fails to set up the usb and stops booting.

i am putting this pi 4 in a a500 case and want to use the amiga keyboard on it.

Has anyone used this adapter? or gotten it to work in amikit?

Hi LordDeathcon and welcome to Forum!

Perhaps you need a keyboard from retro64 instead of 32? Just kidding. The Linux distro behind AmiKit is 64bit and that makes a huge difference. It's twice as fast as other distros, but requires 64bit binaries/drivers too. Just to make it clear, it's not AmiKit that hates your keyboartd, it's the Linux distro.

There are few possibilities - the easiest one is to update the Linux distro. The updates appear quite often. Simply locate "Update Linux" in the Linux start menu.

If it doesn't help, well, perhaps it will be fixed in some future update. Or you can contact retro32 and ask for their support? Or perhaps there's something on Google?

I am afraid I cannot do much about it. Yes, I configured the Linux distro but apart from that I don't have any influence/knowledge. My main focus is the AmiKit and its content, you know.
