AmiKit 11.7.0 update

So just got around to updating, but not too sure it worked a 100%, so after installing, checked which version of Amiberry was running, it still said 4.1.4.

So I thought I do a reboot, no change, so then thought Id do a linux update, which took a very long time, and now hen that finished, I cant seem to access the Terminal, pics

So basically any idea, why this would happen and if I can fix it? or should i start fresh?

Plus do you maintain a whole Pi image with these updates pre-applied?

Again for the moment far I can tell the Amikit XE / Emulation side is running ok, just odd that the Linux side seem a bit broken now. ie Amiberry didn't update and the Linux update seem to stoped the Terminal from running (which is a bit of problem in Linux as I not sure how to fix it with out access to a terminal, lol)

Hello! A quick googling of the Input/Output error in Archlinux Manjaro revealed that you might be experiencing a SSD or SD card failure? Perhaps that is the reason why Amiberry has not been updated too?

Anyway, together with LiveUpdates I am also updating the image. Let me know your email you used to purchase AmiKit and I will send you the latest image.

I did just find the same info, I put the system on a USB stick at the moment, do you think a SD card would be better?

I've just sent you the new image. The USB stick should be fine and faster than SD card, especially if it is USB3. Perhaps try a different stick if you can.
