I want to start a demo that needs a 040 CPU but when i switch it in the Amiberry GUI and start it tells me that a Mathieee....Library vers. 37 is missing.
Is there any solution? Thanks

Hi Kenny - which AmigaOS & ROM version did you use to install AmiKit. That is a crucial information because different OS editions behaves differently.

Also check FPU options in Amiberry CPU panel. Is 68882 enabled? If so, try different settings just to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks for your answer. Meanwhile i managed it to work. The problem was the missing Boing Bags on OS 3.9. Now it starts but picshow statup whit an error due to wrong cpu version.

You can copy 040 version of PicShow from this archive https://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/amiga/picshow.html to AmiKit:WBStartup

But in general, I recommend running AmiKit in 020 mode for the best compatibility. By switching to 040 CPU you don't gain any extra speed. Just extra problems.

THX i only want to switch it for some demos they need 040+, so this solution is much than enough. Normally i leave it at 020. Bye

How about other demos specifically querying for an 040 or even 060 CPU and won't run without? How to pretend having such a cpu installed?

Simply start the emulator in 040 or 060 CPU mode
