AmiKit on Android with OS 3.9 runs very slow

Is there any way to help speed up AmiKit? I have a quad core 2GB Android Tablet 4.2.2 and I click on something it takes about 30 seconds for AmiKit to respond. I thought screen resolution would affect this but I tried a few different with no changes. Any suggestions?

What are your hardware specifications exactly? Name of the model, CPU type, etc?

There is a manual on AmiKit for Android download page. It mentions how to make AmiKit faster. Here's a link for your convenience:

Look into CONFIGURING E-UAE section.

This situation described in user manual. Main speedup is possible with decreasing finegrain_cpu_speed via manual editing .uaerc file, also a little speedup will do function 'several thread for video' at SDL-settings

Attention: Android port of E-UAE does not have any UI interface!
To configure E-UAE setting please open .uaerc file via any text editor. It’s located in
android/data/sk.amiga.amikit/files folder (make sure the hidden files are shown).
On Samsung Galaxy SIII phone it takes about 2 minutes to boot AmiKit. If it’s too slow
on your device, try to decrease the finegrain_cpu_speed value, for example:
finegrain_cpu_speed=32. If audio doesn’t work as expected, increase the value.
Increasing the value (to eg. 128, 256, or 512) makes the AmiKit slower, though.

When AmiKit runs for the first few seconds, the logo screen is displayed as well as
button on the top „Change device configuration“. Press it to access the SDL-settings.
You can setup On-Screen, Mouse, Video-settings and much more.

We recommend to enable “Video Settings” -> “Separate thread for video“ as it will
increase performance on some devices.

Hallo super Idee habe Amikit schon zeit einiger Zeit auf meinem PC
bin super zufrieden.

Hi Günter and welcome to AmiKit! Verwenden Sie Google traslate

Better copy entire content of AmigaOS3.9 to the folder - just to be sure.

Hope it works for you.
