I have possibly a similar installation problem to DHeath? The installation can't find anyone of my legal Amiga source CDROM's when I place the source disk in the CDROM drive.

I've tried with the official disks from OS3.5, OS3.9, AmigaForever 2005 and OS XL but get the same respnse each time? "Please insert volume XXXXX in any drive". How do I get around this problem?

Please help.

Not the same problem like DHeath I think. DHeath problem was related to a wrong path produced by the AmiKit launcher BEFORE WinUAE starts. This path file is only importatnt for installation via AF2005. The other sources (OS3.5 / 3.9 CD's) should work without the help of the launcher. Maybe WinUAE do not access your CDROM .. Have you ever run another Config with CDROM support on this machine ?

I tried the installation on my Sony Desktop with now problem.

I have Amiga Forever 2005/WinUAE installed on both my desktop and laptop. The Laptopn CDROM works as normal from windows and works fine with the Amiga Forever 2005/WinUAE combination. I can access the CDROM from WinUAE (Amiga Forever). There is obviously some incompatibility with the AmiKit installer and my JVC laptop?

Any ideas?

ps I thinkm it's an excellent package, I would just like to get it working on my laptop.

Actually the Anonymous message is from me, TrevorDick, and should start - I tried the installation on my Sony Desktop with no problem.

Thanks and regards,
