In a previous post u mention that it should be better to install AmiKit with a AmigaOS 3.9 CD or AmigaOS XL Cd..

I have only AF2005 and did the installation..

Can u pls provide the files that are missing from a AF2005 in a zip file (or in an update from Amikit..).. or if this this not possible could u pls tell me which ones are missing so i can download em from Aminet? (are any of them copyrighted?)..!!

Thank u for ur time..

Here's the list of files not included with Amiga Forever distribution (here's why).

SYS:L/aux-handler
SYS:Prefs/Asl
SYS:Prefs/DefIcons
SYS:Prefs/WarpOS
SYS:System/Find
SYS:Tools/EditPad
SYS:Tools/IoTools
SYS:Tools/UnArc
SYS:Tools/Commodities/CrossDOS
SYS:Utilities/Action
SYS:Utilities/PlayCD
SYS:Utilities/WBClock
SYS:WBStartup/AmiDock
SYS:WBStartup/ASyncWB
SYS:WBStartup/BenchTrash
SYS:WBStartup/DefIcons
SYS:WBStartup/RAWBInfo

Then there are files located in Amiga Forever's WBStartup instead of their original locations:
SYS:Tools/Commodities/Exchange
SYS:Tools/Commodities/ClickToFront

Note that those missing files are not essential for AmiKit to work. They are either disabled in AmiKit and/or a better alternative is installed instead anyway. But if you really need them, you can copy them to AmiKit from OS3.9 CD or OSXL CD. No re-install is required at all.

First time I have heard about AF2005 not being as good a source CD as AmigaOS 3.9, or AmigaOS XL. Is there an advantage to re-installing AmiKit with one of those if the original install was done with the AF2005 CD? I have both the other source CD's available to me to re-install AmiKit.

You don't need to complete re-install. If you really need those missing files, simply locate them on your OS3.9 CD and copy them to AmiKit installation into appropriate location as described above. The only exception are the WBStartup programs. Copy them to AmiKit:WBStartup/Disabled folder instead.
