Hi,

I just purchased AmiKit XE for Vampire and installed it succesfully on a 32GB CF card.
However after that it won't get passed the (OS 3.2) kickstart screen.
AmiKit was installed with AmigaOS 3.2 files.
I flashed the OS 3.2.1 Kickstart rom to the Vampire using ApolloFlash. (As of core 2.16 it no longer supports VampireMAP and VampireFlash, instead core 2.16 supports ApolloFlash and ApolloMAP.)
The CF card is in the Vampire IDE slot.
The Vampire is running the recently released 2.16 core.

How can I make it boot into AmiKit? I want to use the VampireIDE.

Hello and thanks for reaching out.

First of all, please make sure you install AmiKit with OS3.2 Kickstart ROM in the core (not ROM3.2.1).

If that does not help, can you try flashing the 2.15 core instead and start over with 3.2?

The main point is to get AmiKit up and running first, then back it up, and later you can start experimenting with ROM3.2.1 and/or core update.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. I simply cannot keep up with all the previously unannounced and undocumented Apollo core updates.

I was just informed that this was already handled on the Apollo Discord Support:

To run AmiKit with latest ApolloCore/ApolloOS the user will need to copy ApolloMap over AmiKit:C/VampireMap (e.g. replace old by new).
Also first boot requires user to boot into early startup control (hold bot MB down during boot) and then choose Boot Options, disable «Update ROM Modules», use and boot.
