Can't open AmiKit anymore

I donated in late February and downloaded a version compatible with my M1 MacBook Pro, running OS 12.3
I was able to open this «unsigned» software a couple of times, but put it aside for weeks
because I could not start an emulation despite already having an Amiga ROM and WB files.

Now I can't open it at all, even holding down Ctrl when clicking on Open.
Apple couldn't help, suggesting re-installing it.

Anyone else have this problem and/or a solution?

Hello, are you sure you used the following 64-bit wrapper and repacked AmiKit X into it?
The thing is that when AmiKit X was released, there was no Catalina, no Big Sur, no Monterey and no M1. The new wrapper should fix it.
(Btw. the new AmiKit XE already includes the new wrapper.)

Well, I hadn't even heard of this software before late February and I downloaded
(and paid!) for it on 25 February, so didn't I get the latest version?

Hello, the X (v10) version is the legacy "pay what you want" version as mentioned on the website:

The latest version is XE (v11) available for purchase here:

If you want, on the checkout screen of AmiKit XE for Mac enter your surname as promo code to get a discount of what you already paid for the X version.

Hope it helps.

Hvala vam, Jan! I indeed have v11, for which I paid $44.04.
Here's the transaction information from my credit card statement:

WWW AMIGAKIT COM 02920006344 44.04
32.49 X 1.355493998 (EXCHG RATE)

So, I have the paid version, right?

Anyway, I downloaded the AmiKit-wrapper, but when I try to
copy the Drive-C folder to the new app the OS won't let me!

It (accurately) tells me it's downloaded from the 'Net from an
unregistered developer but when I click on «open» I get the
options «cancel» and «move to trash»!

correction: my Security/Privacy pane asked me to allow your app to open
and I gave it permission, but now I have to go through some «gymnastics»
to allow the Drive-C folder to be copied

No, Garry. You definitely have the old X version (v10) for which you paid 9.95 EUR.

Please be advised that is a different company and so those $44.04 you paid for something else, not for AmiKit

My mistake, Jan. Yes, I did buy something from the UK company earlier this year.
However, the Info for my reads:

Version: 11»

Garry, it's just the version of the wrapper you downloaded from

You definitely have the X version. I just re-sent you the email.
