I tried to load the AmiKit.hdf Installation I made using E-UAE to open with FS-UAE.

This is working, I can see the AmiKit logo and the progress bar, but at the end it is crashing with a guru mediation red blinking box.

Got it running! You have to use 68040 "less accurate" and then the installation made with E-UAE is working fine.

Also the problems with top menu disappears now.

FS-UAE seems to be the perfect solution for a new AmiKit Mac Edition.
You can just use the executable together with a config file.

AmiKit is now running as A4000/040 in fullscreen mode.

Also it is not necessary to use "less accuracy".

My FS-UAE configfile:

amiga_model = A4000/040
bsdsocket_library = 1
chip_memory = 2048
hard_drive_0 = //Amikit/Hardfiles/AmiKit.hdf
kickstart_file = amiga-os-310.rom
uae_cachesize = 8192
uaegfx_card = 1
zorro_iii_memory = 131072
fullscreen = 1

Many thanks!
AmiKit programs and libraries are optimized for 020 with FPU where applicable. Does FS-UAE work with AmiKit if this CPU settings chosen?

I select A1200/020, but system was crashing with many errors...
Selecting A4000/040 again and AmiKit was booting fine.

Is the 020 emulation with or without FPU?
I assume the 040 emulation involves FPU by default while 020 doesn't and that might be reason of the crashes.

You can select a 020 with and without FPU.
