and am unable to find and Tom did send me
a link to the new files.Am waiting to hear back
from my Mandriva help guy so I can get the file
installed.the lost file did show what I was missing
so is a great help to the others trying to install.
Hopefully the next message will come from me

In order to have AmiKit recognize your install media just follow these simple steps.

Make a dir on your hard drive, copy the contents of the CD to that dir and in the EUAE Control add that dir as a hard disk.

tried didn't work ?
what pieces are different than the Windows install ?
could you make a package of them and put them up
some where?
I assume there are differences in startup-sequence
and probably some drivers
Thanks !
there is a new e-uae out and going to try that
and point it to my AmiKit install and see how that works
that is why I asked about the e-uae special files

If you've used the .run script then everything should be set up properly. Just be sure when making the dir to hold your install media that you don't put the dir inside of Amiga-AmiKit. I have mine in /home/AmigaOS3.9 and it works fine from there.
