Hello, I bought a few days ago the DACBerry 400 S to have a headphone output on my PI400 (my screen has no audio output) https://www.osaelectronics.com/product/dacberry-400-s/.
On Raspbian it works fine but the driver does not work on Amikit.
Will there be updates to integrate this kind of device? Or is it up to the manufacturer to adapt his driver to the different platforms?

My installation attempt resulted in the following text:

[amikit@pi ~]$ curl https://www.osaelectronics.com/get/dacberry400.sh | bash
% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time Current
Dload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 --:--:-- --:--:-- --:--:-- 0
This script will install everything needed to use
DACBerry 400 Series

Always be careful when running scripts and commands copied
from the internet. Ensure they are from a trusted source.

If you want to see what this script does before running it,
you should run: 'curl http://get.osaelectronics.com/dacberry400'

This hardware is not supported, sorry!
Config files have been left untouched

100 39955 100 39955 0 0 21084 0 0:00:01 0:00:01 --:--:-- 21084
curl: (23) Failure writing output to destination
[amikit@pi ~]$

Thank you for all ;)

Hello! AmiKit runs on Manjaro XFCE 64bit. While the Amiga emulation on this distro is MUCH faster than on 32bit Raspbian, it also requires a specific 64bit drivers for various things. Unfortunatelly they are not very common. For instance there's not even official Dropbox available for Manjaro 64bit Anyway, try to google Manjaro XFCE + DACBerry.

I've also bought a dacberry 400. I was very disappointed to find out that there is no manjaro support.

To solve my audio problem with my pi 400 (I have no hdmi audio with my monitor), I've bought a hdmi audio extractor like this:
https://www.amazon.nl/Extractor-Ondersteuning-Optische-Audio-Uitgang-Glasvezelkabel/dp/B06XW7HYBP/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=agptek+hdmi+naar+hdmi%2B+spdif&qid=1640482886&sprefix=agptek+hdmi+naa%2Caps%2C159&sr=8-1

Works like a charm.

Just want to add that I tested the hdmi audio extractor with my full HD monitor. I haven't tested the device with higher resolutions.
