I asked awhile ago-in a private message-and the answer was he is busy with the update and is also trying to get the installer for linux working !
Once I have Amikit running on Linux, I can almost spend ALL my time on Linux.Plus there was just an update to Scalos the other day and that is part of AmiKit. So you can see he is busy ! And was the first day of Spring today

I can assure you that the work on AmiKit is still in progress. It's just the development is not continuous due to lack of time. Anyway, if everything goes as planned, the new version will appear on very attractive media.
Mac OS X will be supported too.

Many thanks for your patience.
