that is because it's a shareware program that the author no longer works on
OR has a place to pay for the shareware.Instead find FFmpeg-dated May 20
2009 on aminet or sourceforge, I forget where I found and use that.I plays anything you can throw at it.Music/video. I even have found vids that vlc and divx can not play but ffplay-part of the FFmpeg package-CAN play. I would also get the 060 libs and install them and setup Winuae to use the 060 as
FFmpeg has an 060 version that works great.Let me know if you can not find
and will help

found it on aminet

you will also need the newest version of ixemul which should also be on aminet

put the whole package in c:

use ffplay to play your vids/music. Like I said it plays all the vids I have.Avi/mpg/wmv/qt/etc. It also plays any sound file=mp3/flac/wmv/ogg/etc

And there is NO cost/time out !
Pressing "enter" during the movie will open it on it own screen FULL size !

alanwall, the ffmpeg as well as ixemul are already part of AmiKit... so there's no need to download any additional files.
