I installed 1.50 and aminet radio is not working, anyone else having this problem?? It worked before in 1.46.
By "not working" I mean I can not get any stations when I click GO, after putting in a search.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

OK, I reinstalled 1.46, and it does the same thing now, it must be the aminet radio server or some such has gone down or something....
To bad, it was really nice. I hope they can get it back up and going.

AmiNetRadio works here. It plays the offline music as well as the online streams.

Admin,
Thanks, do you have any idea what could be causing my troubles? It used to work, in 1.46, now it does not, plus, in 1.50 it does not work. I reinstalled 1.46, but does not work, any idea??? I am using the MagellanII environment.
Could you give me a URL to input by hand, and I'll see if that works?
Thanks.

By the Way, it does play off-line mp3's.

I noticed it doesn't play all the streams. For example this one works http://schizoid.in/schizoid-psy.pls but some others don't. Strange.
The Search function (the GO button) doesn't work here as well.

This is a Beatles station, it plays when added as a URL. So I am a bit more of a happy camper. It seems the SEARCH site itself is down that is all I can think of.
In WINDOWS I did this.....
I went to http://shoutcast.com looked for beatles, then clicked "tune in" by a station, that loaded up and I copied the URL by hand into Aminetradio. At least the connection works... hopefully it is not an AMIKIT problem. I don't think it is, if you are experiencing it also.
Let me know what you find out OK???
Thanks for your comments.

Check out the requirements of AmiNteRadio in the guide. Maybe some 3rd part library was updated that renders the AmiNetRadio search function not functional.

Thank you for your recommendation, I checked, and I do not know anything about AMINET RADIO, the versions of the librarys, etc... so I would not know which is out. I will play with replacing some of the backed up libs.
However that would not explain why with Amikit: 1.4.6 the ANR SEARCH was working fine, and now it does not work. And since it seems do be doing the same for you, there must be something similar going on with yours too.
So I am sure you will keep looking for an answer too.
I will post again and let you know if I find anything, and I hope you will do the same...
Thanks for all your help!!!

Admin,
Me again,
Here might be something, in the ANR settings there is a shoutsearch tab, there is a line to enter a PROXY, and this line is BLANK could that be a cause for the problem???

open your prefs and go to the shoutcast tab.

and insert following IP:

207.200.98.25

now it should work again.

I can't play streams. I typed IP in proxy field and searching works.
But when i click on station it reloads few times, sometimes buffering starts,
but at the Stream closed message is written.
