Hi

I've just purchased AmiKit X using the excellent 50% off 12th Birthday offer - thanks! First of all I'm trying to get a base configuration together that reflects my current AmiKit 8 config including having 'autohide' set for the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. So in my AmiKit 8 setup its as per my Windows config in that the taskbar is hidden until I move the moust to the bottom of the screen and the taskbar then pops up from the bottom of the screen. Unfortunately I can;t see how to set up AmiStart to do this in AmiKit X. Can you advise please?

Ah - don;t worry I've sorted it now. It was changing a settingh in the AmiStart ToolTypes - namely removing the brackets around SHOWONBOTTOMDELAY=5

Hi Andy,

thanks for your purchase and welcome to AmiKit X! I hope you like it.

As far as I remember there is an icon tooltype for that. Go to AmiKit:WBStartup and doubleclick AmiStart.info. Find SHOWONBOTTOMDELAY=5 tooltype and remove the brackets so the tooltype gets activated. Save, reboot and voila!
