Cannot write to CD with MakeCD???

Hi,

I'm having a bit of a problem trying to write to a CD with MakeCD. It won't even recognize it right now in MakeCD. I've tried 5 different CD drives so now I think its my MakeCD/AmiKit setup.

I'm running the latest version of AmiKit on a Dell GX620 P4@3.6ghz with WindowsXP Pro SP3 installed.

The drive I'm trying is a "HL-DT-ST CDRW/DVD GCC4482 E107" IDE on the second IDE channel set as Master.

When selecting menu item Tools/Target CD-R... in Make CD this is the error I get:
Target drive, CDR_SCSI3_ATAPI:
CD info read failed
(Cmd TEST_UNIT_READY => Sense Key/Code: $f/$ff)

Any ideas?

Appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Thanks,
Robert

P.S. I tried posting some screenshots, but the spam filter wouldn't let me...?

I think I've somewhat figured out how to get my CD Drive accessible. I had to install system files from an AmigaOS3.9 CD and not from Amiga Forever 2010 CD when installing AmiKit for the first time.

Yes, its working fine. Can Read, Write, etc... I plan on trying to troubleshoot that some more, but I've gotta find the time. Not sure when that will be...
