Hi sorry if this is the wrong section for posting my question. Anyway I am having a hard time creating HDF Files in amikit x using the new 3.1.4. Before upgrading I created HDF Files using full rdb mode and hdtoolbox and this worked fine. Since upgrading to 3.1.4 Hdtoolbox pops up with everything blanked out it doesn't show any drives at all not even the amikit HDF which always showed up. I guess I'm asking if someone can help with a guide on how to now go about setting up a HDF file? Does toolbox need upgrading? I'm probably missing something really simple. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Ops, it seems like the HDToolbox has slipped my attention. Thanks for noticing me!

The fix is very easy. Right-mouse click its icon, select Information and change SCSI_DEVICE_NAME from scsi.device to uaehf.device and it will work.

Alternatively, you can always run a backup of previous HDToolbox located in SYS:Tools/pre314 folder.

New issue I can now format and partition large hard drive files. However when formatting anything over 4gb it is only showing 3.8gb in opus or scalos unless I switch the desktop replacement to Worbench mode then it shows the full 8gb. However the full 8gb is usable in all 3 desktop modes its more of a cosmetic issue.

Exactly, it's just a cosmetic issue. Directory Opus (used as Workbench replacement in AmiKit) just doesn't show the size right...

The harddrives larger than 4GB are fully supported in AmiKit.
