Using AmiDock with AmiKit

1) Move the AmiDock icon from AmiKit:WBStartup/Disabled into AmiKit:WBStartup (Duh!)

2) Comment out the following line in Startup.sequence (put a semi-colon in front of the line):

"Run >NIL: SYS:Utilities/Expansion/VisualPrefs/TRAP ALL COMPLETE"

3) Reboot!

Here's what it looks like in my AmiKit install:

Looks good!

Why to disable "TRAP" patch? Does it cause problems with AmiDock?

Thank you > klesterjr .

I copied the Amidock from Cd Os3.9 in the wbstartup of Amikit. Amidock of amikit had a problem.
Trap? I did not change into startup-sequence.

If you have personal programs, You can put icons png in Amidock but they will not be seen in your repertory ,because of Magellan .

You didn't actually need to copy it over from the 3.9 CD -- it was in the 'Disabled' folder inside the 'WBStartup' drawer.

I can see from your screenshot that you've got the same graphics "glitches" that I had before disabling 'trap' in VisualPrefs.

P.S. PNG icons? Who needs PNG icons?
