What am I doing wrong?
I tried to play galaga but it's missing the roms.
I copied the roms to devs/kickstart/kick.
But it does not work

Hi Ballewk,

What error WHDLoad reports?

Make sure you copied the correct ROM to AmiKit:Devs/Kickstarts folder (not devs/kickstart/kick) and named it kick40068.A1200
Actually it's the same ROM you use to run AmiKit itself (AmiKit/ROMs/kick.rom)

If you have a rom.key file, copy it to AmiKit:Devs/Kickstarts folder too.

The Error Report:

Could not find any of the kickstart images
´40068.a1200´, ´40068.a4000´
required by this Slave. Check the ReadMe.
(prefix ´ahdcommon:kick´ or ´devs:kickstarts/kick´)

Okay, as I mentioned before, copy the same Kickstart ROM 3.1 (A1200) image file from AmiKit/ROMs/kick.rom to AmiKit:Devs/Kickstarts folder and rename it kick40068.A1200. If you also have a rom.key file, copy it there as well.

Kickstart ROM 3.1 (A1200) image file is also included with:
- Amiga Forever as 'amiga-os-310-a1200.rom' usually located in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Amiga Files\Shared\rom\ folder.
- AmigaOS4.1FE ISO as 'Kickstart-A1200-40.68.rom' located in AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition:System/Emulation/AmigaROMs folder.

Btw. if you have other Kickstart ROM images such as kick33180.A500, kick34005.A500, kick40063.A600 and kick40068.A4000, copy them to AmiKit:Devs/Kickstarts folder too.

For example the kick34005.A500 is included with:
- Amiga Forever as 'amiga-os-130.rom' usually located in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Amiga Files\Shared\rom\ folder.
- AmigaOS4.1FE as 'Kickstart-34.4.rom' located in AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition:System/Emulation/AmigaROMs folder.
