Some thoughts about AmiPup:

It's amazing how quickly AmiPup has become my main system for everyday use and professional work.
When I occasionally boot into Windows7, using a dual boot on the same harddisk on the same PC, I'm surprised by how slow and sluggish Windows 7 seems now in comparison.

And what's up with all the dreadful popups on the Windows7 desktop, from the anitvirus and antimalware programs running in the background, you don't have those annoying popups on AmiPup

AmiPup is so fast and awesome, it completely makes your PC seem new, fast and fun again

And with all the easy access to pure Amiga programs and games (in E-UAE and AmiKit) it's a total win-win for me (and a total loss for Windows7 )

Hi AmiKit, thanks for the kind words

AmiKit is the only solution that gives the user a true AmigaOS experience, and enhances it with modern browsers/media players and much more.

For years I have been looking for this kind of setup, so I could learn/use AmigaOS, and still work as a website developer, using modern browsers on the same system.

It is finally possible

Thank you so much for your hard work, it is greatly appreciated!

Hi AmiKit,

I could teach others how to make the same setup that I have installed, I could make a step by step tutorial, on how I did it.

Would it be okay with the AmiKit team, if I made my own website where I show AmiKit users how to make the same setup that I have ?

(I would of course link to AmiKit website and AmiKit Forum, from my website,
but my website would be like an independent/un-official supporter of AmiKit, but only support the same setup that I have made.)

That way I don't take anything away from you or "steal" any of your forum users, I would only be like an extra support forum, but only support my own AmiKit/AmiPup setup, I would not support the official setup that AmiKit provide yourself.

Would that be okay ?

Thank you for your hard work.

Regards,

Testing AmigaOS 4 icons on AmiKit desktop

I made a new logo for the Startmenu in AmiPup, so it looks more like an Amiga (font could look better, I will try to fix the font)

Thanks,

Do you like Amiga, Pizza takeaway and Netflix ?

https://cdn.pbrd.co/images/jHlSCVgdY.png

Using AmiKit and a modern browser, I ordered pizza from a popular takeaway/fastfood website, paid for it online with creditcard, and got the confirmation email from the pizzaplace, in gmail - easy and fast

Pizza got delivered (it was good! and Netflix was streaming, everything done on my Amiga (AmiKit)

I have never been able to order takeaway and pay online, on any Amiga in the past, but now you can
