Hey guys,

Great job on AmiKit, it's really impressive how much is improved since the old days.

I have one question: AmiKit fails to properly display most old A500 demos (such as the Lemon Gathering'93 intro (http://pouet.net/prod.php?which=7655)). I know that it starts up, because the music is playing, but it does not switch over to display the screen (I presume the demo doesn't use the proper system calls to switch over from the graphics card). Are there any kind of launcher programs that can switch over to standard amiga display before launching an executable?)

Hi,

most A500 demos won't run on real Amiga 1200 or 400 either.
But you can try WHDLoad. It's already pre-installed in AmiKit, all you need is to download an install package for your demo from here http://www.whdload.de/download.html and it should work.
