I think you need to write SUDO before the command itself. This way you ensure the command is executed with administrator privileges.

When I run E-UAE I get a AmigaDOS prompt. I assume E-UAE is working properly? If so how do i get Amikit running with the E-UAE I have installed? Thank you

Which Linux distribution & version are you using? 32-bit or 64-bit?

I'm working AmiKit via FS-UAE in 64-bit Fedora 23. I am NOT using that .uaerc file. I use FS-UAE Launcher to rebuild AmiKit.

Hi,

Using the instructions I downloaded from this web site I'm now at a point where E-UAE is requesting an Amiga OS. I thought my AmigaForever files contained the OS? Where is AmigaOS Xl, etc or the files that should be there? I assume they are workbench files? Thank you

Yes, AmigaForever includes everything you need (so you don't need any other source like AmigaOS XL, etc.).

Did you follow the install instructions? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/490828/AmiKit/misc/AmiKit_for_Linux.pdf

Yes, I got to page 11 but I did not do anything in Terminal. I did not appear that was required.

The last window I see in E-UAE is:

AmigaForever: Amiga files/system/dir/system/c/wait: file is not executable

Will Amikit install under Linux (Raspbian Pixel) on the Raspberry Pi?

Hi Fred,

not at the moment. It requires a special build. After I finish AmiKit X, I might remove dust from mi Pi3 and make a port...
