Hi. First of all I have compiled euae from source because the .deb was erroring out. Second when I try to launch from terminal it does not bring up a euae window. Third, the install pdf says I need to copy the config file from the archive to my home dir but am unable to locate the config file to copy and the instruction pdf is not specific. Thank you!

Not sure if you dual boot Windows/Kubuntu but if you do and have AmiKit installed on the
windows side,Wine now working with Amikit. You just need to edit the uae file and point to
the right paths

The config file is named .uaerc (there are two, one for 32 and another one for 64bit system). Maybe the file is not visible on your system because the name starts with a dot?

If E-UAE doesn't work for you, please try FS-UAE. New version has just been released: http://fs-uae.net/stable/2.4.3/
